I've Got A Job!

Yes, I'm happy to say that I will no longer be a Professional Slacker slash bummer slash unemployed because I have a job now. Ok, well at least on paper I do. I received my offer letter earlier this afternoon and much to everyone's relief (I wasn't holding my breath, had to be prepared for anything), I am posted to KL! Yippee!!!

I'll be working in the Twin Towers to boot. Woo Hoo!! I'm so very thankful that I did not get thrown into somewhere far far away. I had 5 years in a tiny town for my uni years, seriously, I could do with a metropolitan city for a change. Melaka does not count as a city, when I'm optimistic, Melaka is a town.

Speaking of which, I am now looking for a place to stay in KL. Any suggestions? A criterion is it must be located anywhere along the Kelana Jaya LRT Line as I don't own a car and would rely on public transportation to work. So Congratulations to me *beaming perasan-ly*

Congrats!! KLCC is a pretty awesome place to work i reckon! I was at a meeting just a few days ago on the 71st Floor and that's one superb view form up there!

About a place to stay, if you are going to working 9-5 ,the trains are packed like a sardin!! So try to get a place at Kelana Jaya(first stop heading to kl) or KL Central(where half the herd gets off) or masjid jamek. Anywhere else, you not gonna feel like you actually showered before work,if you know wat i mean...Cheers!

san nien: thanks dear for the words of encouragement :)

abi: a few friends are staying in kelana jaya, am condisidering that place. Not so sure bout KL Sentral and Masjid Jamek though, the place there are a lil pricey and there's terrible jams. as for the LRT rides, i know exactly what you mean! experienced that tonnes of times during my internship days.

jim: thanks!

sakura: thank you dear. i hope KL suits me too :P

starry eyed: thanks! yeah, setiawangsa and wangsa maju are under consideration. thanks for the heads up!
